SAM Award Winner for the Design of the Best Single Family Detached Home Under $400,000

The 2017 SAM Awards presented Walters Homes and CWB the Merit Award for the Best Single Family Detached Home Under $400,000 this April. CWB Architecture designed the home shown for a client looking for a spacious, light and airy home for friends and family to gather. The family loved the neighborhood and wanted to take advantage of the views available. CWB brought their vision to reality, and designed a spacious 2350 square foot home, which includes modern amenities and an open floor plan. The design has 4 large bedrooms and 3.5 baths. To maximize light and views, gathering spaces are located on the upper floor, with high ceilings and transom windows. The home also incorporates multiple decks and a large roof top deck, to enhance views of the ocean and bay. CWB’s design, driven by functional needs of the client and aesthetic of coastal architecture, exceeded the clients expectations.
