Architecture for Humanity Project

CWB Architecture is currently working with Architecture for Humanity, a non-profit organization, and Toms River North High School to redesign several areas of the school affected by Hurricane Sandy. The school was selected by Architecture for Humanity as an area in need, and CWB volunteered to help the Toms River community redesign the accessory buildings. Areas included in the redesign include an entry plaza to the stadium, including ticket booth, restrooms, and concession stands; a press booth; dugout area for the JV baseball field, and the overall circulation of the athletic spaces at Toms River North. This community collaboration began with an event on October 30th 2013, in which CWB Architecture worked with community and school members to visualize and articulate their needs and hopes for this project. Drawing with the community of  Toms River North, CWB Architects developed initial ideas that will be realized in the design and construction of this Hurricane Sandy relief project.
